Binance Blockchain Week 2020, Vietnam has been postponed due to Coronavirus outbreak
Amidst the global Coronavirus concerns, Binance has decided to postpone its much-awaited Binance blockchain week Vietnam 2020. The event was originally scheduled to take place between 29th Feb – 4th March.
In a blog post on the official booking website, Binance explains
“Health and safety is the utmost priority under whichever circumstances. As of January 31, over 10,000 cases have been diagnosed with novel coronavirus across 14 countries. In the past two weeks, Binance has closely followed the updates of the epidemic, pledged $1.5 million and worked on logistics support for those in need in China. Meanwhile, at this global public health emergency, it would be irresponsible if we put the attendees’ health at risk through any public gathering. Thus we have to postpone this event. “
No new dates have been given. According to Binance, new dates will be confirmed once the epidemic is under control.
People who bought the tickets can get a full refund, or use that ticket for a later date. Binance blockchain week is Binance’s flagship event which aims to capture the fast-growing Vietnamese market. The current market leader in Vietnam is Malta-based exchange, OKex.
