Bitcoin’s subreddit, hits a million subscribers! Becomes more popular than Rick and Morty’s subreddit
While Bitcoin’s price value has been in a downtrend in this year, Bitcoin’s official subreddit ‘r/Bitcoin‘ celebrates one of the biggest milestones of Reddit – reaching a million subscribers.
Reddit user ‘CryptoBull007’ became the millionth member of the Bitcoin subreddit. The significant increases in the number of subscribers in r/Bitcoin have been this year alone. On November 2017, the subreddit had around 400K subscribers – that is 600K users 1 year alone.
r/Bitcoin now becomes the 121st biggest subreddit. The subreddit is now more popular than r/RickandMorty, one of a really popular animated show. The subreddit lacks behind r/EatCheapAndHealthy which has 11K more subscribers than r/Bitcoin.

r/Ethereum – subscribers: 417K+ – The official subreddit of the once second, now third largest cryptocurrency – Ethereum is the third most popular subreddit in terms of subscribers count. Most of the discussions happen regarding Ethereum development rather than price value.
r/BTC – subscriber: 231K+ – Created by Roger Ver to promote Bitcoin Cash, this subreddit has quickly gained lots of subscribers and is the 4th largest subreddit in the cryptocurrency space in terms of subscribers.
