TezApeGang – The First Ape PFP and Staking Feature project On Tezos Blockchain with DAO

Unless you are living under a rock, you might have heard of Bored Ape, Bored Apes made the headlines last year when a single piece of the bored ape was selling for millions. Apes have an intense community in the Crypto world. Following the success of Apes on other chains, apes have finally come to the XTZ blockchain.

Tezos is self-governing and on-chain upgradable, liquid-proof of stake chain, to make sure our Ape NFTs won’t be forked ever, less gas fee for Ape lovers to become part of the community. Also, the eco-friendly nature of Tezos makes it the perfect fit for the TezApeGang launch.

Tezos chain started the widely popular #CleanNFT movement which is aimed to make NFTs energy efficient, unlike many other Blockchain.

This brings us to TezApeGang, the first Apes to come on Tezos chain. TezApeGang has been turning heads ever since it has been announced. It aims to form a DAO of its holders and the community has been acting as a DAO from day 1. The mint price as decided by DAO is 5 XTZ (24$) for presale and 6.9 XTZ (33$) for one ape.

The collection features a total of 6969 unique Apes with over 180 traits.

TezApeGang also pays tribute to many projects like tezzardz, gogoz, prjktneon and neonz to name a few.

The roadmap is extensively made which involves NFT staking, royalty sharing, and floor-sweeping.

TezApeGang ensures a fair distribution to all participants where the team won’t hold any rare TezApes by any unfair means. The Smart Contract contains a provenance hash (An IPFS-hash that points to a document containing a mapping from token ids to a fingerprint of the art). This allows anyone to verify that we didn’t assign Ape after minting them. Furthermore, at the start of the sale, the harbinger price oracle (https://harbinger.live/) is used to randomize the starting id of the sale.

For the Tezos on-chain smart contract integration of  TezApeGang Project, we got one of the best developers, Josh Dechant aka @codecrafting, the founder of Crunchy network (one of the best DeFi projects on Tezos). He is also the developer for the  ZIGGARUTS NFT drop by ‘Mike Shinoda’, the founding member of the Famous Hollywood Music Band Linkin Park’.

Once TezApe NFTs are minted, they will be listed on Objkt.com (biggest marketplace on Tezos). Reveal of final artwork takes place after 24 hrs.

TezApeGang NFT Holders can however stake their NFTs once the staking platform goes live to receive royalties back to them. Until the staking platform is live, royalties will be used to sweep the floor and the wallet address for royalties collection will be made public.
