Litecoin Foundation Partners with Travala to increase LTC adoption in 500k+ Properties Across 210 Countries

Litecoin Foundation announced its partnership with Blockchain based hotel booking platform Travala on Thursday.

As a part of the partnership, Travala users will be able to save up to 40% on hotel bookings if they pay with Litecoin (LTC) via Loaf Wallet. In addition, the hotel booking platform is also the official accommodation partner for the upcoming Litecoin Summit in San Francisco.

Matthew Luczynski, CEO and Founder of Travala.com said,

“The consumer is in the driver seat when it comes to achieving mass-market cryptocurrency adoption, and we’re delighted to embark on this journey with the Litecoin Foundation with a unified goal: to bring the mainstream use of cryptocurrencies into everyday life. The partnership is a part of the adoption that Charlie Lee promised for 2019. The new campaign is dubbed #TravelWithLitecoin similar to previous #PayWithLitecoin campaign. This partnership could be significant given that travelers could pay with Litecoin and get a discount in over 500k properties across 210 countries spanning 82k destinations.

Charlie Lee, Creator of Litecoin and Managing Director of the Litecoin Foundation said:

Despite low developer activity on Github (read report) Litecoin is making progress on the technological front. Litecoin developers recently released a new software update to reduce fees by 10x and improve privacy in the Litecoin network.
