Looks like Ripple Inc, is working a lot on their philanthropic side. Ripple just announced that they have funded all the classroom projects listed on DonorsChoose.org. This is the first major step taken by a cryptocurrency to boost their social awareness and come under a positive light.
DonorsChoose is an American non-profit organization that allows classrooms from all the public schools all over the US to take public donations for their classroom projects. This eases the burdens of public schools and gives students access to more funds for their projects.
The project funding announced on 27th March 2018 on YouTube by Charles Best (founder of DonorsChoose.org ) and Monica Long (SVP of Marketing at Ripple).
The news is big for Ripple and this news even got a mention in Colbert’s Late night show.
