Imagine buying Tesla stocks using XRP. Crypto trading platform Abra plans to allow trading of US Stocks with XRP. The news was confirmed by the CEO on Twitter. Although, no exact date has been given people speculate it could be by the end of this year.
Last week, Abra announced a new feature which would allow trading of US stocks with Bitcoin. This news was well received by the cryptocurrency community. XRP Evangelist “XRP Nation” asked Bill Barhydt, CEO of Abra, on whether Abra will allow trading of stocks with XRP, and the CEO confirmed it will be very soon.
US Stock trading through Bitcoin will be rolled out to 155 countries. And the company says initially they won’t be charging any fees. According to Abra’s website,
“Abra allows you to securely invest in 30 cryptocurrencies, 50 fiat currencies, and very soon global stocks and ETFs — all from one app. Fund your account and start investing by using bank transfer/wire, credit/debit card, or supported cryptocurrencies.”
