The 11th largest cryptocurrency, Tron, is one of the investors favorite cryptocurrency. Apart from being marketed amazingly well by the founder Justin Sun, the cryptocurrency is seeing widespread adoption. The fact is evident after Tron Foundation announced that they exceeded 3 million total accounts.

According to data by Tron Scan, more than 140,000 new addresses were opened in the last 14 days. On December 31st, 2018 Tron had 1.1 million total addresses. Within 6 months the blockchain has added more than 1.9 million addresses.

Additionally a few weeks back, Tron surpassed Ethereum for the first time in a total number of 24-hours transactions. A total of 47 million transactions was processed in an hour 24 hour period.
The news of 3 million total address has no effect on the price so far. On the contrary, the cryptocurrency has reduced by 4% in the 24 hour period. Tron is currently trading at $0.0327 and has a market capitalization of $2.183 billion.
