The Tweets And Reddit Posts Will Be Paid Off By The Brave Browser

Brave, ad-blocking browser startup is making an attempt to rewrite the rules of online advertising. Today it is sending payment to YouTube stars, website publishers, and Twitch video game streamers. Now they are planning to extend that system to those people who will send tweets and Reddit posts.

On Tuesday, the company said that brave is planning to add Twitter and Reddit support for the 4th quarter of the year.

The Brave users need to enable the payment system before any of Brave’s basic attention token (BAT) crypto-tokens change hands. The BAT payments will be made when those users will decide that the tweets or Reddit post are worth something.

The company stated, “The model will be tipping – a user likes a tweet and can give the BAT to the tweeter, and optionally tweet back that he tipped.” Similar tipping mechanism will be given to Reddit.

The idea is quite interesting even if it doesn’t provide you with wealth. The sites like Twitter and Reddit depend on your content in terms of financial success. Out of all that activity, you get to see an interesting and potentially useful service. Moreover, you are more likely to see ads rather than a cut of the proceeds.

Brave is also trying to guide some of the site’s value to a population which is essential for its success. Payments to websites such as YouTubers and Twitchers are more automatic than those who have the BAT payments enabled. By default, the payments are sent to how many times the Brave users load the respective website. It is a lot more profitable if you have millions of followers and is already an internet celebrity.
