The famous Crypto personality John McAfee is now becoming the CEO of the Blockchain project Luxcore replacing the current CEO Brian Oliver.
The company claims to reorganize itself by appointing McAfee as their CEO and hiring some other people for various roles in the company. With McAfee as their CEO, they aim to accelerate the growth of their project.
The Luxcore project is a Blockchain project which relies on the PH12 Algorithm which is a hybrid of POW and POS with its native token Luxcoin. They boast four main features in the project namely Smart Contracts, Segwith, Masternodes, and something called Luxgate which basically acts as a bridge between various Blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum to engage.
John McAfee said:
“Luxcore’s rapid development of game-changing technology requires a rapid escalation of business growth, In order to achieve the company’s growth targets, there will be a heightened emphasis on strategic marketing of products such as the PoS web wallet and the yet-to-be released LuxGate cross-platform exchange. I am excited about our aggressive growth strategy and the many innovations yet to come.”
Love him or hate him McAfee is one of the most influential people in the Cryptosphere today and his involvement in ICO’s and projects sure pump the bags (Like Docademic), this sure reflected in Luxcoin too.
Even on a bloody day where most of the Alts lost over 10%, Luxcoin went from around $2 to $3. It has dropped back to $2.25 since then. Currently, Luxcoin has a market cap of over $5 Million, a majority of volume coming from Cryptopia.
