IOTA Foundation brings a new Director of Communications
Cara Harbor has joined IOTA Foundation as the new Director of Communications. She will be responsible for the IOTA Foundation’s internal and external communication strategy that includes. She is also the in charge for Foundation’s news and any other relevant information is passed on to all stakeholders and interested parties.
According to a blog post by David Sønstebø, Cara Harbor has 19 years of experience working in Silicon Valley and has previously worked in companies such as HP. Adobe, Cisco, LinkedIn etc. She also has a vast amount of experience in the tech sector, including open source technologies, enterprise/IT, consumer, IoT, cryptocurrencies, as well as the nonprofit sector.

I am excited to work with a company at the intersection of IOT and DLT, two of my great passions. I am confident that we are entering a new era that will further advance and streamline our external and internal communication process.

IOTA doubling down on communication efforts
Cara is the Foundation’s second hire after Eicke Frederiksen, who joined in August 2018. He joined as a media producer. Eicke Frederiksen also writes for TheNextWeb and HuffPost. IOTA Foundation has also started improving on its communication strategy as constant news around the project comes out of the foundation.
IOTA (MIOTA) is the world’s 11th largest cryptocurrency and sits at a market capitalization of $1.5 Billion. It is currently trading at $0.5562
