AI, Robotics, and Web3 Unite: PERCEPTION LOOPS Exhibition Debuts in Cannes at EthCC 2026

In the glamorous setting of Cannes, where film stars usually shine, a new spotlight falls on the fusion of art, technology, and blockchain. During the buzzing – the Ethereum Community Conference – an exciting art show called will open its doors. This event blends AI, robotics, and Web3 in a fresh way, showing how humans and machines create art together.

What is All About?

– Of Humans, Machines, and Hybrid Nature – is not your typical digital art display. It features real, physical artworks that mix old-school art skills with cutting-edge AI and robots. Held right in the heart of Cannes, this show aims to spark talks between tech fans at and artists who use smart tools to make beauty.

Curated by Diane Drubay and produced by Brian Beccafico, the exhibition gets backing from top Web3 players like 1inch, P2P.org, and Resolv Labs. Key organizers include Valeriya Dementyeva, Head of Global Partnerships at 1inch, and Ekaterina Rumianceva, Events Lead at 1inch.

“Web3 events are turning into spots where culture and tech meet,” says Valeriya Dementyeva. “This show kicks off our plan to bring real contemporary art to crypto crowds – not just on screens or as NFTs, but as hands-on pieces you can see up close.”

“It’s a bridge between two worlds,” adds Ekaterina Rumianceva. “We bring physical art to the super-digital Web3 community and ask everyone to think about how humans and machines team up on creativity.”

The Artists Behind the Magic

The star artists are aurèce vettier (the creative name for Paul Mouginot) and Patrick Tresset. Both focus on how AI, robots, and classic art methods come together. Their works turn the gallery at Galerie MO-11 into a lively space where people, machines, and nature swap roles and watch each other.

Visitors move their eyes between humans, images, and robots. Robots draw portraits of guests, while AI dreams turn into sculptures, paintings, and weird hybrid shapes that guests observe.

Patrick Tresset’s Robotic Portraits

Patrick Tresset brings his famous Human Study #1 installation. Here, robots sketch portraits of sitting visitors, like a modern take on old-life drawing classes. It turns portrait making into a live show between human and machine.

Other works from Human Study #2 and The Birth of Venus use robot arms to redo classic styles like vanitas and still-life. Guests can even book a live portrait session with the robots during the event. Imagine sitting still while a machine arm captures your face – a perfect mix of art and tech!

aurèce vettier’s AI Dreams in Bronze

aurèce vettier shows paintings and bronze sculptures born from AI ideas. The artist feeds algorithms to create dreamy scenes, then turns them real with paints, bronze casting, and craftspeople’s help. In the gallery, you’ll see landscapes, butterflies, and hybrid beings – all starting as digital dreams.

These pieces make the space feel alive, like an organic world where robot arms look like tree branches, code flows through brush strokes, and AI acts as both creator and creation.

Why This Matters for Web3 and Crypto

Art and crypto often meet through NFTs and screens. But flips that by focusing on touchable art made with AI and robots. It brings deep tech questions to attendees, beyond just pixels.

This ties into big changes in blockchain. Web3 now eyes real-world assets (RWAs). DeFi platforms tokenize things like gold, homes, and even art. As ownership goes digital with NFTs for provenance, physical art like this shows how tangible items fit into blockchain worlds.

Think about it: A bronze sculpture from AI could have a blockchain record of its making, ownership, and sales. Smart contracts could handle royalties forever. spotlights this future, where art lives in both physical and digital realms.

In crypto, events like draw builders, investors, and thinkers. Adding high-end art pushes Web3 culture forward. It proves blockchain isn’t just finance – it’s about new ways to create, own, and share value.

The Bigger Picture: Art’s Role in Blockchain’s Future

As AI tools like generative models boom, artists like these lead the way. Robots drawing portraits challenge what ‘art’ means – is it human soul or machine precision? In Web3, this questions ownership too. Tokenized art could let fractions of ownership worldwide, making elite galleries open to all.

in Cannes sets the stage for these ideas. With Ethereum’s upgrades pushing scalability and RWAs, expect more crossovers like . It’s a sign: Crypto isn’t just code; it’s culture.

If you’re heading to , don’t miss this. It could inspire your next project – or just blow your mind on human-machine art.
