CheapAir to start accepting Bitcoin Cash?

CheapAir, an American online Travel agency, announced to a few users that will start accepting Bitcoin Cash from now on. Reddit user “iamnotaclown” got a call from CheapAir announcing that CheapAir now accepts Bitcoin Cash for payment as well. The company although hasn’t updated the same on their website.

CheapAir is known for their openness to technology and they usually are the first Travel company to start something new

  1. In 2011, CheapAir becomes the first company to refund the price difference to their customers, if the airline price is cheaper anywhere else, before the flight.
  2. In 2012, CheapAir becomes the first Travel company to allow Natural Language searches for flights.
  3. In 2014, CheapAir becomes the first major Travel company in the US to accept Bitcoin as a payment method.
  4. In 2015, CheapAir becomes the first company to allow direct Flights from the U.S. to Cuba

After all these innovations its no wonder that CheapAir would miss out on the opportunity to accept Bitcoin cash, which claims it is more faster and scalable than Bitcoin.
