Coinbase Unveils “Coinbase One” Subscription Service, Offering Zero Trading Fees

Coinbase, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced the launch of its highly anticipated subscription service called “Coinbase One.” This new offering will soon be available in 35 countries, revolutionizing the trading experience for crypto enthusiasts worldwide.

Initially, Coinbase One will be accessible to customers in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Ireland. The subscription service aims to provide a range of exclusive benefits, including zero-fee trading, amplified staking rewards, and unique perks through partnerships with industry players like Messari and CoinTracker. All of these features will be available for a monthly fee of $29.99.

Coinbase has also revealed its plans to collaborate with other partners, such as Alto IRA, Blockworks’ Permissionless, and Lemonade, to offer additional advantages to its members. By leveraging these strategic partnerships, Coinbase One seeks to provide a comprehensive suite of benefits tailored to the needs of cryptocurrency investors.

One notable feature of Coinbase One is the provision of a 24/7 dedicated support team. Members will have access to prompt assistance via phone, ensuring a seamless experience and swift resolution of any technical account issues they may encounter. Moreover, United States members of Coinbase One will enjoy the convenience of a pre-filled tax Form 8949. This feature simplifies the process of filing crypto taxes by automatically organizing users’ transactions, making it easier for them to fulfill their tax obligations.

The launch of Coinbase One follows the introduction of Coinbase International Exchange on May 2. This institutional platform specifically caters to the trading of crypto derivatives. The move to expand internationally is seen as a response to the regulatory challenges Coinbase has faced in the United States. Despite this expansion, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has emphasized his unwavering commitment to the U.S. market, reassuring users that the company remains dedicated to serving American customers.

Coinbase’s foray into the subscription service market is expected to bring enhanced accessibility and benefits to cryptocurrency traders globally. As the company expands its offerings and partnerships, it continues to solidify its position as a key player in the ever-growing cryptocurrency industry.
