Doge Racer, game on Dogecoin, Releases new version

The indie game inspired by the Dogecoin community, Doge Racer, has released a new version of its game. The new version is 1.17 alpha. The developer has also allowed the game to be purchased via Dogecoin, creating a good use case for Dogecoin.

Doge Racer is a game similar to hugely popular Nintendo game ‘Mario Kart’. The game was created by a developer, Anthony Cicero, who is active in the Dogecoin community.

The game is similar to ‘Mario Kart’ with a few notable differences. Each cart is being driven by a  Shiba Inu dog, the official mascot of Dogecoin. The game features a complete package and includes different modes of gameplay such as single-player, and multiplayer (both split-screen multiplayer and online multiplayer).

Changes in the new version

The new version (1.17a) works on the previous version and improves upon various bugs. The new version includes,

  • Doge Racer in VR mode
  • New tracks
  • A new respawn button
  • Big fixes
