Earn Dogecoin [DOGE] by doing quests on a new MMORPG game

Imagine playing a game and instead of getting a reward for completing a quest the gamer earns Dogecoin. That is the vision of Reddit user ‘r/SoildCold5’ who wants to build an MMORPG game doing just that.

The game will be a Massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) in which people can choose any character, create and do quests, find collectibles and even buy & sell some rare items. The entire in-game currency is based on Dogecoin. The in-game currency Doge is equivalent to Dogecoin. According to the developer, 1000 Doge = 1 Dogecoin.

According to the developer on the Reddit post where the game is introduced,

“People can go on Dogescape and complete quests to earn Doge. Another alternative is finding items and selling them to other players. The game doesn’t set a defined cost/sell the price for an item that is defined by the player base. For example, let say you found a diamond skull which is a 1 out of 56,890 chances of finding. You try to sell it for 50,000 Doge, but the market price is 23,000 Doge. You can hold to your diamond skull until market value increases and then sell it. Soon you can convert a certain amount a doge for dogecoin. We would take a 5% cut of your transaction to pay for maintenance, updates, and staff.”

The developers are currently running a fundraiser to help generate funds for the project. They plan to raise the funds from the Reddit Dogecoin community.
