Fujitsu to present IOTA Technology in one of world’s largest trade fairs

Fujitsu announced that they will be presenting the IOTA Technology in the Hanover Fair which is one of the world’s largest trade fairs

The introductory seminar by Fujitsu called “Intelligently connected”: Experience Industry 4.0″ which is a part of the Fujitsu world tour 2018. Hanover fair is one of the world’s largest trade fairs held in Germany where 6500 exhibitors and 250000 visitors are said to participate each year and a live application of IOTA will be presented in the Fujitsu stand this year. The fair will be held from April 23 to 27.

Recently the Fujitsu Head of Central Europe Dr.Rolf Werner endorsed IOTA and told he believes in the technology of IOTA and will support it. IOTA on their blog also mentioned that his “unmatched enthusiasm and drive” would bring “great value for the IOTA project as it continues to cement it’s leading role in the DLT space.”

Fujitsu also has featured an article on their website on the advantages of IOTA over blockchain where it is mentioned that IOTA is better than blockchain in metrics such as Transaction rate, scalability, the feasibility of micropayments, efficiency and verifiable manipulation security.

The blog also mentions that:

In the future, IOTA could help companies to verify their data . The easiest way would be for a high-performance computing company, such as Fujitsu, to act as a trusted instance . The Trusted Instance keeps a copy of the blockchain of the respective company and receives from it once the Basis Blockchain – the so-called Genesis block. All transactions then take place both in the enterprise blockchain and in the blockchain of the trusted instance, ie at Fujitsu. In a review, the auditor only needs to compare the two blockchains. If both transaction histories are the same, no manipulation has taken place.

They mention in the blog that IOTA is much more than a payment system and companies can adapt IOTA for IOT use cases and that companies can connect and control all their devices using IOTA.

integrated IoT communication will continue to increase and it will be exciting to see what the IOTA technology is all about.
