Two more digital assets exchanges have announced the support for the upcoming Bitcoin Cash hardfork. They are Kraken and Bitfinex, two of the largest exchanges in the world. The Bitcoin Cash hardfork is supposed to take place on November 15th.
According to the announcement by Bitfinex,
“Bitfinex will complete a full account snapshot of Bitcoin Cash balances at UNIX time 1542300000, i.e. 16:40 UTC, November 15th. Deposits and withdrawals of BCH will be suspended as of 15:30 (UTC), November 15th.”
Kraken, on the other hand, would be completely shifting to Bitcoin ABC. According to Coinness,
“Kraken will start following and supporting Bitcoin ABC which will be following the plan of expansion published by Bitcoin Cash. On the day of the fork, the crypto exchange will make their Bitcoin Cash wallets specifically support Bitcoin ABC.”
Almost every major exchange has announced the support for the Bitcoin Cash hardfork. Coinbase & Binance were the first one to announce the support for the hardfork. Huobi too has announced the support for the hardfork.
BitPay becomes the latest service provider to announce the support for the hardfork.
