Mixed Martial Artist Ben Askren Gives a Shoutout to Litecoin (LTC)

With Litecoin Foundation partnering with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), former Olympic Wrestler Ben Askren who will make his UFC debut promoted his upcoming match with Robbie Lawler for UFC 235 and went on to praise Litecoin as the cryptocurrency partner on Twitter.

“Pumped for @LTCFoundation to sponsor me for UFC 235!”

“What’s up Litecoin community. I just wanted to thank you for the sponsorship for UFC 235. I’m especially honored to represent you guys, because you are a cause and something I believe in. Obviously I hold a lot of Litecoin myself. I think it’s especially great when not just that I get a sponsorship, but when I get one that I believe in and that I think can help make a better future. And I think that all of you guys see that vision as well.”

Litecoin’s creator had promised that he would be focusing on more mainstream adoption for Litecoin. The Litecoin foundation began the year with a bang with the UFC sponsorship, they intend to further create a long and fruitful relationship with the UFC.

“We view this sponsorship as the first step to what will hopefully be a long and fruitful relationship with UFC. We look forward to the possibility of doing some amazing things with this incredible organization.”
