Poloniex India Meetup – Bengaluru Chapter, India

Poloniex, one of the leading digital assets’ exchange recently stepped into the Indian market. Poloniex’s most recent event in Bengaluru marked their arrival in the country in grand style. The meet-up was graced by renown people from the Bengaluru crypto space as well as crypto enthusiasts looking to venture into the world of digital assets.

The event was kicked off by Kingsley Tan – Global Marketing Manager, Poloniex. He shared the values and mission of Poloniex as a brand, their goals for the Indian market and the importance of Indian Crypto Ecosystem at the global level.

In his words:

” India is the biggest market for any exchange, the potential is limitless and a lot of sections of the target audiences are still untapped. As representatives of Poloniex we would try our best to understand the needs of the audience and work in accordance with that while staying within the regulatory framework of the country. We wish to operate with utmost transparency and develop the strongest values of trust and loyalty among all our users”

The one day event which kicked off at Taj Hotel, MG Road, Bengaluru welcomed ideas from key opinion leaders from the crypto/blockchain industry. The likes of Rich Chaudhary (Growth @ Bikonomy), Astha Gupta (Strategy at Polygon), Reshi Maghada (India’s Leading Financial Influencers), Shilika Jain (Partnerships/ BD @ Coinmarketcap), Rahul Gemawath (Founding Member Bitbns, Ex OKX & Kucoin) were on the panel of speakers.

Agenda of discussion was mainly centered around key topics like Crypto investments, Scope of Cryptocurrencies, Future utility of Blockchain, Impact of Crypto on the Economy, How to ensure safety while investing, How to identify good projects and the scope of growth in the crypto industry in India and the importance of building during bearish markets. Everyone was in agreement to the point that bear market is a true test of character for both individuals and projects. The strongest survive and the ones that fizzle out were probably not good enough anyway.

Crypto Meetups in India

Apart from the panel discussions, keynote speeches the event was a truly engaging experience for everyone. The event organized by Blockmanity had some really engaging activities that had to offer something for everyone. Be it beginners, intermediates or pros from the industry, everyone had a great learning experience and there was not a single dull moment. Poloniex also sponsored winners of the quiz and few other activities.
