Tron [TRX] to be updated to Version 3.5, tweets Justin Sun
Tron[TRX] blockchain is getting a major upgrade. According to Tron’s founder, Justin Sun, the new version will bring a host of new features, and also includes a performance boost by 50%.
The new hardfork is called Odessey. The new upgrade introduces 4 new features,
- Multi-signature and account managing
- Dynamic energy adjustment and real-time network performance
- 50 percent performance upgrade from the present levels
- Better Virtual Machine safety and event server for Dapps
One of the most important improvements in this Tron’s hardfork is the focus on DApp developers. Tron has improved its Tron Virtual Machine (TVM) and now is all set to build an even more enhanced VM for developers.

Clash with Ethereum [ETH]
The hardfork is happening on the same date when Ethereum’s Constantinople Hardfork is happening. People from the cryptocurrency community believe this is another one of Justin Sun’s marketing stunt to promote Tron and steal Ethereum’s limelight. No matter what happens, February 28th is going to be a big day for DApp developers.
