Ethereum [ETH] founder Vitalik Buterin owns 1,000 ZCash [ZEC] tokens, EOS overtakes Litecoin [LTC]

Ethereum’s founder Vitalik Buterin has revealed on Twitter that he owns 1,000 ZCash tokens. At the current price of $82.5, Vitalik’s holding of ZCash would be estimated at $82,500.
On May 24th Vitalik Buterin tweeted that someone would release a closed software package with Zk-snark (the encryption protocol of ZCash) providing the security. A Twitter user with the name of “battbot” asked Vitalik whether he owns any ZCash, to which Vitalik replied with “yes, around 1K of them last I checked”.

Vitalik Buterin is one of the few influencers in the cryptocurrency space who have revealed their cryptocurrency holdings to the public. This is done to create transparency across the industry.
EOS overtakes Litecoin [LTC]
Litecoin has been dethroned from the number 5th spot once again. EOS has surpassed Litecoin to becomes the 5th largest cryptocurrency.
On 27th May, EOS New York tweeted that they purchased $20 million worth of EOS tokens for RAM for product deployment. The product will be announced on June 1st. The news of the announcement immediately pushed the market cap of EOS from $6.4 billion to $7.3 billion.

Litecoin’s and EOS’s battle for the 5th spot is head to head. EOS has a market cap of $7.3 billion while Litecoin, on the other hand, has a market cap of $7.15 billion.
