2019 Global Dev Competition launched by Bytom with a Prize pool of $100,000

Bytom.io has launched its 2019 edition of Bytom Global Dev Competition in the New York Blockchain Week in May. Post the announcement, several teams from India, Zambia, US, Venezuela, Taiwan have registered for the event. The process will be active till 2nd August 2019.

From the success of last year’s Global Dev Competition which was held in Hangzhou China in 2018, Bytom has decided to continue the competition this year too. The 2019 Bytom Global Dev Competition finale will be held in San Francisco, in August. This Dev competition targets to find more technical talents, to strengthen Bytom’s development capability, and enhance its open-source ecosystem.

To reward the brilliant developers from across the globe to encourage participation, the 2019 edition of Bytom Devcon has a prize pool of almost $100,000, along with providing support in fundraising, technical development, incubation, and media exposure. Teams qualifying for the final round will compete for the prizes. There will be first, second and third prizes. For first prize, the team will get BTM tokens equal to $30,000.

Here is what the teams will be awarded after the results:-

First Prize * 1: 30,000 USD equivalent BTM

Second Prize * 2: 10,000 USD equivalent BTM

Third Prize * 3: 5,000 USD equivalent BTM

Recognition Award * 10: 3,000 USD equivalent BTM

BTM token is listed in top exchanges like Huobi, Bittrex and OKEx where it can be converted to Bitcoin (BTC), USDT and other Cryptocurrencies.

Here are some competitions guidelines that one needs to keep in mind before participation:

• Each participating group can have upto 5 members.
• Entries must be completed independently.
• Participants need to submit those projects which are developed based on Bytom. Organizing Committee will review it then select which can enter the competition.
• Last date of submission is 8^th August 2019
• Entries should be submitted as per the set format or else they will be rejected. Need to upload your codes on GitHub.
• Anyone belonging to the organizers of the event and members of judgment cannot take part in the competition.
