Binance owned Trust Wallet adds support for VeChain and Wanchain
Trust wallet, one of the most popular and secure Ethereum wallet, has added support for two major public blockchains, VeChain and Wanchain. The news was announced on Trust wallet’s official Twitter account. The service will be available on both the iOS and Android version of the wallet. The wallet also supports VeChain Thor.

Currently, Trust Wallet supports seven types of blockchains, Ethereum, GoChain (GO), POA Network (POA), Callisto (CLO), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Wanchain (WAN) and VeChain (VET). In addition to these seven tokens Trust Wallet also supports all ERC20, ERC223 and ERC721 tokens.
Bitcoin integration coming soon
Trust Wallet also announced that they plan to add more cryptocurrencies by the end of the year. They include Bitcoin, Tron and NEO. Initially, Trust wallet was only limited to Ethereum and Ethereum based token, but after Binance acquisition Trust wallet is on the way to becoming one of the most trusted wallets for cryptocurrencies.
Binance Acquisition
In July 2018, Trust Wallet was acquired by Binance for an undisclosed amount of money. Trust wallet also marked Binance’s first acquisition in the cryptocurrency space.
“The company has built a reputation for security and has held itself to the guiding principles that it will never access user wallets, hold private keys, and ask for personal information,” said Binance in a statement to Bloomberg.
