Tron Mainnet has Surpassed 500k Accounts, Says CEO Justin Sun
Justin Sun, CEO of Tron just tweeted marking a new milestone for the Tron network for surpassing 500k accounts on the Mainnet.
After 113 days of the launch of the Tron Mainnet, it has surpassed 500k users. According to the data from Tronscan.org there are a total of 500459 accounts as of now on the Mainnet. The number of addresses has increased from 446675 to over 500k in the past 14 days with an average of 100k addresses added every month since the launch.
There are currently 879 nodes running with over 170k transactions in the past day.

Activities on the Tron Network
The Tron Virtual Machine(TVM) launched late August this year which enables smart contracts to be deployed on the Tron network. A total of 97 Smart Contracts have been deployed with over 150k+ Smart contract Triggers since the launch.
There have been more than 20 DApps built on the Tron Network, and some of them have started gaining traction. Tron Bet, a provably fair dice game one of such DApss which has gained traction.
The game was played over 10000 on the first day of its release. Almost 40000 bets have been made on the DApp till date with over 13.5 Million Tron tokens won as rewards.
Tron is currently the 11th largest Cryptocurrency with a market cap of $1.57 Billion. At press time the token is priced at $0.023 with over $100 Million trade volume in the past day.
