Binance chain could be open for public beta testing by next week, says CEO
Binance is the true winner of the ongoing cryptocurrency bear market. The exchange’s native token, BNB token saw its value increase by almost 20% in the past couple of week to eventually become the 10th largest cryptocurrency. Now Binance CEO, CZ announced that Binance chain will be open for public beta testing from next week.
In CZ’s first ever live streamed AMA, Binance CEO answered questions regarding Binance Chain. The most important question that was asked was “How to apply to be a Binance Chain Alpha/Beta tester?” asked by user @cryptosbatman. To which CZ replied,
“Very soon, in probably about a week or so — last time I said two weeks, about four weeks ago — but very soon, we will open the Binance Chain beta-testing to the public. So, very soon. I don’t think you have to apply anymore.”
Apart from the launch date, CZ also clarified some of the common questions regarding the chain and Binance in general, such as the number of verification nodes, the launch date of the Binance DEX, listing fee for the DEX and who would be getting the early access to Binance DEX.
