Craig Wright, the man who calls himself the Satoshi Nakamoto and the true inventor of Bitcoin had published a blog on Feb 8 restating the claim that he is Satoshi Nakamoto. WikiLeaks hits back, stating Craig Wright is a serial forger.
In a Medium post, Craig Wright wrote, that he created Bitcoin with the law in mind, That is Bitcoin can be used as a serial currency but in the limits of the law.
“Bitcoin was never designed to help an anonymous money-transfer system, and I was always opposed to those seeking to operate outside the law. ,” the post reads. “[A blockchain] …does not stop government taxing, and it does not bring down banks. It was never designed for such a purpose.”
He ends the blog post by claiming he is Satoshi.
“I am not going to list the people who helped me here, but Bitcoin started because of my ideas. It was my design, and it is my creation.”
In the blog post, Craig Wright also states he condemns the use of his “creation” by WikiLeaks and Silk Road, to which WikiLeaks hits back with proof regarding Craig Wright’s forgery.
Using links from Archive.org, WikiLeaks claims that Craig Wright altered the date of a post from 2015 to the new date of 2008 to prove he was working on cryptocurrencies in 2008.
