Litecoin to hold its first Global Summit on 14th & 15th September in San Francisco
Litecoin is conducting its first global summit called the “Global Litecoin Summit” in San Francisco on 14th & 15th September. The summit will be inaugurated by Charlie Lee, the founder of Litecoin and will be hosted by Naomi Brockwell, the famous crypto TV personality.
Apart from Charlie Lee and other founding members of the Litecoin foundation, 40 other cryptocurrency influencers will be speaking at the Summit. Some of the speakers include Elizabeth Stark, CEO of Lightning Labs, Adam Draper – founder of Boost VC, Eric Winer – VP of Gemini Exchange, Xinxi Wand and Franklyn Richards – Founding directors of Litecoin Foundation and many more.
Apart from famous speakers, many crypto YouTubers would also be making an appearance. Some of them on the list include Crypto Love, Crypto Influence, Crypto Heidi, Cryptosomniac, Crypto Blood etc.
The summit’s agenda includes updating the investors on what Litecoin is doing, and where are they going. Litecoin also plans to announce some major news, one of which is speculated as a possible listing on Gemini exchange.
The Summit speakers will be covering a wide range of topics, from smart contracts to scaling of blockchains. A complete list of topics includes:
- Interconnectivity between digital assets
- Designing the future of digital currencies
- Payment adoption
- Bridging the gap between merchants and consumers
- Importance of non-custodial wallets

The summit will also be Live Streamed and hosted on Litecoin’s official website.
Litecoin to get listed on Gemini Exchange?
Speculations are mounting on the fact that Gemini Exchange, cryptocurrency exchange run by the Billionaires Winklevoss brothers, would officially announce the listing of Litecoin on their platform. What adds fuel to the speculation is that Gemini exchange is the platinum sponsor of the summit. The exchange currently does not support Litecoin.
