BitGuild launches the first blockchain game for the Tron (TRX) mainnet
Blockchain gaming platform, BitGuild, launches the first game on Tron blockchain. The new game is named Magic Academy and was introduced by Justin Sun, the founder of Tron at a special conference on 29th September.
Magic Academy is an idle blockchain game, that is, players interact once and the game keeps running. The game is similar to Cookie Clicker, the highly popular browser-based game. The aim of the game is to buy “wizards” that mine the in-game currency known “Jade token”. More the number of wizards, the faster Jade tokens are mined. Jade tokens are completely tradable and are based on the new TRC20 token.
BitGuild was founded by Jared Psigoda in 2017. According to BitGuild’s website, their mission is to revolutionize the global gaming industry by creating a platform for a brand new class of games that live on the blockchain. BitGuild also plans to launch 5 blockchain based games by Q4 2018. Justin Sun, the founder of Tron, is an advisor on the company.
