Verge surges by over 20% before getting listed on Bitfinex
Bitfinex one of the largest exchanges in the world listed Verge (XVG). They announced at 09:30 AM (UTC) that trading is going live at 11:30 AM (UTC). XVG will be tradable against BTC, ETH, USD, GBP, EURO, and JPY.
But Verge surged by over 20% even before the announcement today.
According to CoinmarketCap, Verge went from a $0.068 yesterday to a high of $0.081 even before the Bitfinex announcement and dropped a bit and picked back up to $0.083.
Currently, at the time of writing this article, the price is $0.078.

The major volume has come from Binance and the Korean exchange Upbit.
Mid-April Verge had announced a major partnership with Pornhub up to which the price had rallied up to $0.114 and plummeted to $0.062 which is a drop of nearly 45% in less than 12 hours after the announcement.
Currently, Verge stands at the 24th position with a market cap of almost $1.2 Billion.
Bitfinex also listed Stellar (XLM) on their platform.

Verge also announced their first meetup in Amsterdam scheduled on June 9th.
