Bittrex Adds Ethereum Fiat(USD) Pairing On Its Exchange
The US-based exchange Bittrex will be adding Ethereum based Fiat(USD) on its exchange according to the latest announcement.
Last month end Bittrex had made a public announcement that they will be adding Fiat(USD) trading pairs after they landed a banking partner and were clear on regulatory issues.
Bittrex which was founded in 2013 had been a Crypto to Crypto trading exchange until recently and now they are set to add more Crypto to Fiat(USD) pairs eventually, to start with Bitcoin(BTC), Tether (USDT) and TrueUSD (TUSD) was added and now Ethereum (ETH) pairings will be added.
There are around 200 Cryptocurrencies listed on the exchange and has been pretty reliable with the service till date without a single hack or compromises. The Seattle based exchange is also very particular about compliance with the regulators and takes their time to make sure that it is achieved.
Their approach is to launch the USD trading platform to a few qualified customers from states like Washington, California, New York, etc and eventually roll out to all the retail customers.
Their blog mentioned:
As you can tell, we’re very excited about launching USD trading and being able to extend these markets to more customers once we can ensure they’ll have a great experience. When we’re finished rolling out these phases, all qualified customers will have a streamlined experience for purchasing digital currencies on Bittrex directly with US dollars.
Bittrex plans to add more and more Crypto Fiat(USD) pairings in the not so distant future.
Bittrex Tweeted:
Today we’re adding Ethereum (ETH) to USD (Fiat) markets in addition to previously announced Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT) and TrueUSD (TUSD) markets. See recent blog for more information: https://t.co/n0RfkvUPYa #Bittrex pic.twitter.com/fXeFMy316V
