Litecoin’s New Logo
The new logo by Litecoin shifts the brand from “Silver to Bitcoin’s Gold” to an entirely new identity of its own. In January 2019, Litecoin foundation released new brand guidelines.
Products and brands who list Litecoin have already started to update with the Litecoin’s new logo. Coinmarketcap was the first one of the major platform to the update Litecoin’s new logo.
“As more people get exposed to it — and specifically the blue version we created for the UFC sponsorship — it has become apparent that the distinctiveness of the blue logo is well liked. For us, the blue illicits the notion of ‘trust’, which the community on Reddit identified as important for Litecoin. It’s also the color of calm and serenity, and as such inspires a feeling of security and safety. Plus it pops as an icon in wallets and on exchanges!” says Robbie Coleman, a team member at The Token Agency.
